About
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara, advised by Ramtin Pedarsani. I received my M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2024, and my B.Sc. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mathematics from Bogazici University in 2021.
My research interests include fairness in machine learning, uncertainty quantification, conformal prediction. Recently, I have worked on counterfactually fair conformal prediction, throughput optimization for LLM inference, and long-term fairness in dynamic decision-making systems.
Before graduate school, I also worked on autonomous driving systems, real-time computer vision, medical image registration, and signal processing for communications.
In summer 2025, I interned as a Research Scientist at Munich Re, working on fair uncertainty quantification methods for conformal prediction.
You can see my publications and CV for more details.
